The CERN Open Science office coordinates Open Science at CERN and is tasked with implementing the various Open Science policy implementation initiatives. The Open Science Office's main responsibilities are the support of the Open Science Steering Board (OSSB) in organizing meetings, the conduction of frequent OS policy revisions, and the creation of the biennial CERN Open Science report.

The Open Science Office also hosts the meetings of the Open Science Practitioners Forum (OSPF) and other community initiatives.  All topical working groups and professional interest groups which are part of OSPF can utilize the resources offered by the Open Science Office. The Open Science Office runs the Open Science website and acts as the hub for all external communication.
